The Bourbon Social is a weekly newsletter with honest reviews of new and upcoming bourbon releases. Every week I pick one bottle, sometimes an everyday shelf pour and sometimes an allocated release, and give it a straight verdict: BUY, TRY, or PASS. The goal is simple: help you decide whether a bottle is worth your money before you spend it.

How I review
One bottle a week, across price points: shelf bottles you can actually find and limited releases worth hunting.
Every review ends with a clear verdict: BUY, TRY, or PASS.
No sponsors and no paid reviews.
If a brand sends a media sample, I say so in the review. A free bottle never guarantees a good verdict.
Tasting notes are one palate’s take. Pour your own and tell me what you find.

The Bourbon Social is a newly launched weekly newsletter for readers who are actively deciding what to buy next. I am happy to purchase bottles at retail price, and media samples of new and upcoming releases are also welcome. Here’s what to expect:
A full written review, typically within two to three weeks of receiving the bottle, with the link sent to you.
Release details, pricing, and where to buy included.
An honest BUY / TRY / PASS verdict, with the sample disclosed to readers.
